An interline agreement is a relationship between airlines that allows an airline to sell services provided by another airline to a customer. Airlines use interline agreements to sell routes that they would otherwise not be able to serve on their own. Qatar Airways has signed an interline agreement with Airlink, strengthening its presence in Southern Africa as the largest airline operating from the region. Strengthening the interline agreement between Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways is a natural next step towards strengthening our partnership. As our network has recently surpassed 100 destinations and over 700 weekly flights, we look forward to working closely with Kenya Airways to support the recovery of international tourism in Kenya. The agreement will also allow passengers in the region to be served by 25 domestic flights and more than 20 regional destinations. Qatar Airways Vice President Africa, Mr. Hendrik Du Preez, said: “Since 2016, both airlines have experienced the tremendous benefits of interline cooperation, which offer passengers a smooth service and smooth routes. DOHA, Qatar, October 22 – Qatar Airways is pleased to announce that it has extended its interline agreement with Kenya Airways to cover 43 destinations across the continent via its 14 weekly flights to and from Nairobi. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Akbar Al Baker, said: “Qatar Airways is pleased to welcome Interjet as an interline partner.

This exciting and strategic agreement expands the reach of our two airlines to different markets and offers passengers more comfort and access to more commercial and recreational destinations on a single ticket. We are pleased to offer our customers better choice and connectivity when traveling to points in Mexico. Qatar Airways has partnered with Mexican airline Interjet to offer passengers better connectivity when travelling between Mexico and more than 160 destinations on Qatar Airways` global network. The new interline agreement, which takes effect now, allows Qatar Airways passengers to travel with a single booking through both airlines` networks to and from points in Mexico that are not directly served by Qatar Airways. . . .
